Vagator beach


Vagator beach is with the soft white sands, the black lava rocks and the coconut trees. The famous Anjuna Beach lies to the south of Vagator enjoying the rural life.

Palolem beach


Palolem beach is 37 kms from Marmagoa. The beach is situated at west of Chaudi. It is in the backdrop of western ghats and comparatively isolated.

Miramar beach


Miramar beach is 3 kms from "Panaji" the capital city of Goa. Miramar is a golden beach of soft sand girdled with palm trees. It is one of the most popular beaches in Goa.This is the beach where the Mandovi River meets the Arabian Sea. It is unsafe beach to swim because of the strong undercurrents. However. this beach is the best spot to observe sun set.

Majorda beach


Majorda is the village where the best Goan toddy is availble. It is the place where the Goans were first trained of baking breads. Therefore, the Majordans are still Goa's best bakers. It is the faith of most of the Goans that the Hindu god Lord Rama was abducted in his childhood and brought up at Majorda.

Dona Paula beach


Dona Paula beach is 7 kms from "Panaji" the capital city of Goa. It is a good picturesque place and it gives a view of Zuari River and Marmagoa port. Water scootering is popular at this beach. The beach is near the rocky point between Mandovi and the Zuari. At the Dona Paula Bay, two of the Goa's famous rivers meet Arabian Sea. The beach is named after the Viceroy's daughter Dona Paula de Menzes, who according to the legend, threw herself off a cliff since she was not allowed to marry a local fisherman with whom she was in love. There is a black stone statue of the lady and her lover on a rock.Cabo Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor of Goa is situated on the westernmost end of Dona Paula.

Colva beach


Colva Beach is 6 kms from Marmagoa. Colva is one of the most popular beaches in South Goa. It provides excellent accommodation facilities at the tourist cottages. Murmagoa enroute Colva, you pass by the the large Church of Our Lady of Mercy. Nossa Senhora das Merces was built in 1630 and re-built in the 18th century. It is the longest unbroken stretch of beach from Marmagoa to Cabo de Rama.

Cavelossim beach


Cavelossim Beach has soft white sands and the black rocks. It is at south of Benaulim beach. This is more clean and quiet than most of the famous beaches of Goa. There are number of beach shacks making available varieties of Goan dishes and sea food at reasonable rates.
